I would like to take advantage of this last issue of the year to let you know how proud I am of our organization, the team that brings it to life, the volunteers who support it and more generally, the entire community of professionals and organizations that it brings together.
Six years ago, BOMA Quebec announced its new positioning and a renewed brand image. In an ever-changing context, an exercise in reflection is once again essential if we are to remain at the top of the list of local associations that are among the most relevant, proactive and connected to their community and business context.
We're looking to further expand our community of member organizations to include new key players from the institutional sector. Of course, we also want to promote increased recognition of the profession and expertise of BOMA Québec among the young professionals and students in real estate management, finance and engineering, notably.
In the weeks and months to come throughout 2024, the BOMA Quebec team will be updating its positioning, image, messages and tools such as our website, to reflect the evolution of its vision. You'll see this change take shape over the course of the year.
The past year has been an eventful one, punctuated by many fine achievements for BOMA Quebec. That is worth celebrating, as many of our initiatives and events have been a great success. The Building Energy Challenge 2.0 is on a roll, not to mention our presentations and social activities that continue to attract a growing number of real estate professionals.
Dear members, you are our raison d’être and our main motivation. We hope to live up to your expectations and needs, always remaining relevant and useful to your evolution and that of our industry. Dear volunteers, our sincere thanks for your involvement and the much-appreciated quality of your presence.
It is by working together that we will build from one year to the next a vigorous, high-performance industry driven by an ambitious, shared vision of excellence.
Happy holidays to you all. We look forward to seeing you next year.
